Bridesmaids is an upcoming 2011 American comedy directed by Paul Feig and produced by Judd Apatow, Barry Mendel, and Clayton Townsend. The plot centers on Annie (Kristen Wiig) and her experiences as a Maid of Honor in Lillian’s (Maya Rudolph) wedding. Bridesmaids was produced by Apatow Productions and will be released by Universal Pictures on May 13, 2011. This will be the final film appearance of Jill Clayburgh, whose death from leukemia in November 2010 occurred before the film was released.
Plot: Lillian (Maya Rudolph) and Annie (Kristen Wiig) are best friends. When Annie finds out about Lilian’s engagement, she is asked to be the maid of honor. She accepts and is happy until she finds out about all the things the maid of honor has to do. All hell breaks loose when they travel to Vegas for the party that none of them will forget…or remember!
Jack and Jill is a 2011 comedy film starring Adam Sandler. Dennis Dugan, who has collaborated with Sandler on most of his films, served as director. It was distributed by Columbia Pictures and released on November 11, 2011. Jack & Jill was universally panned by critics upon release. Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reports that 3% of 65 critics have given the film a positive review, with a rating average of 2.9 out of 10. The consensus is, “Although it features an inexplicably committed performance from Al Pacino, Jack and Jill is impossible to recommend on any level whatsoever.” Metacritic, which assigns a weighted average score out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, gives the film a score of 24 based on 17 reviews.

Plot:
Jack Sadelstein is a successful advertising executive in Los Angeles with a beautiful wife and kids, who dreads one event each year: the Thanksgiving visit of his identical twin sister Jill. Jill’s neediness and passive-aggressiveness is maddening to Jack, turning his normally tranquil life upside down.
Ben Zook wrote the original draft. Adam Sandler brought in Seinfeld and Saturday Night Live writer Steve Koren to rewrite the original script with him. Comedy writing veteran and frequent Sandler collaborator Robert Smigel came in later and did a rewrite of the script. The film is produced under Sandler’s production company Happy Madison, and was shot in Los Angeles, and on the cruise ship Allure of the Seas, before its maiden voyage in December 2011.
